Staying at Alter Wirt was a pleasant surprise. The family room was spacious with a king-sized bed and additional twin beds, perfect for our group. The bedding offered great support, making every night restful. Breakfast was a standout with a buffet of fresh breads, cold cuts, cheese, and made-to-order eggs. I loved the local honey and jams too—such a nice touch! The attached restaurant felt welcoming with a cozy atmosphere, though it was closed during my visit, which was a disappointing surprise. Despite that, the quiet surroundings made for a peaceful night's stay. It’s only a short drive to Munich Airport, which is super convenient for early flights. A couple of things could be better. adding some snack options outside breakfast hours would help, especially for restless travelers. Also, no elevators meant carrying luggage upstairs was a bit of a workout, but the staff were helpful with my luggage. Those improvements would elevate the experience further.

Family with children stay for quiet time
The staff were helpful, even coming outside to show me how to use the privacy cover on the rental car. They also had a drink fridge that was accessible which gave a nice touch after a long day.
It wasn't exactly cheap, but it was acceptable for the value received.
